Workshop: Beach Cover-Ups

Description

In this workshop class we will be sewing beach cover-ups! For this class, students will need to purchase 2 yards of their own fabric! They will need 2 yards of a woven (non-stretch) fabric. You can use cotton/cotton blends, rayon, polyester blends…whatever has a good “feel” for your cover-up! For those who need help with selecting fabric, I’ve created a new class that teaches students how to shop for fabrics. Please click here for all of the details of that class and to sign up! I will provide the pattern and the interfacing needed for this project.

Please note the times for this class, as it’s a little bit longer than our usual workshops. This is to allow time for cutting out fabric (I normally have everything prepped for workshop classes!)

This is a beginner level class with sewing basics as a prerequisite.

For your reference, the pattern I will be using the Beach Cover-Up pattern by Ellie and Mac. You are welcome to purchase your own pattern, or students can use mine during class.
