Description
In this summer camp class, we will be making book sleeves! A book sleeve is a nice, little protective cover to put your books in when you leave the house and want to take a book with you. It protects the cover and pages from getting bent, wrinkled, spilled on, etc. To add a little challenge to this project, I’ve added 2 pockets on the outside. One is an open pocket while the other is a zippered pocket underneath, perfect for storing your library card, chapstick, or other little trinkets! There is also a snap on the top to close it up and prevent your book from falling out.
The finished book sleeve is approximately 8″x10″, which will hold most sized chapter books.
***Please do not sign up unless you are serious about attending class, as my spots are limited. A $10, non-refundable material fee is due within 24 hours of registering (unless you are a homeschool student who has sent in a certificate). Summer camp class fees are due in full by June 7th with no refunds after that date. If you do not pay your fees within the designated due dates, your child will be dropped from the class. You can read full payment policies here.
If both times fill up and you’d like to join this class, please let me know and I will add you to my wait list! If there is enough interest, I am open to adding one more time slot from 3:00-5:30pm.
Additional book kits will be available for purchase for $10 each.
