Nothing says summer like watermelon, am I right? In this fun class, students can choose to make either a purse or a clutch bag. There will be two fruit designs to choose from: watermelon or lemon. This project teaches students how to sew in a zipper. It’s not as scary as it sounds! I’ll make it easy for you 😉 Students WILL need to bring a zipper foot to complete this project, so please make sure you have one! I’m posting a link at the end of this post so you can see what it looks like, or purchase if you need one.
I will provide all the fabric your child will need. Please bring your own sewing machine and sewing tools. I’ve had several students missing lots of tools, so please check your bags before you come to make sure you have everything you need! 😉
