Description
I am very excited to add this intro to quilting class on my calendar!! Students will learn the basics of quilting by creating a smaller scale quilt, beginning with basic squares. They will learn how to quilt all layers of fabric together and finish the edges with binding. They have the choice of either making a baby doll blanket (always a popular request from students!) or a quilted wall hanging. The finished quilt measures 19″x19″.
I will provide all materials needed and will have an assortment of fabric squares available for students to design their quilt toppers!
This is a beginner level class, but students MUST have completed sewing basics and should be solid on sewing straight lines and following seam allowances.
