Description
I am SO excited to launch a new sewing series to my classes: beginning hand-stitching!! These classes are designed for younger students wanting to learn how to sew, but aren’t quite ready for a sewing machine. Classes are for ages 6 and up, and older kids are certainly welcome as well! I have 2 time slots available; an after-school time as well as an earlier, homeschool time.
For this project, students will receive a kit to make 2 gingerbread men/women plushies. They will most likely be able to complete only one doll during class, but can take the second one home to finish. This project will be done completely by hand, so no need to bring a sewing machine! I will provide all the materials, but please bring snippers, pins/pin cushion, and a fabric marking pen.
Gingerbread men measure approximately 7″ tall.
Skill Level: Beginner, ages 6+
