You can never go wrong with sewing a beach bag at summer camp! Especially this beach bag, which uses a mesh fabric for the bag; perfect for those little grains of sand to fall through!
The skills that students will be learning about on this project include: working with facings and interfacing, sewing curved seams, how to sew bias tape, making an adjustable strap, sewing rings and clasps. These are all great skills for sewers to have!
The finished bag measures approximately 14″x14″, so it’s a great size to hold a towel, sunscreen, and other beach essentials!
